Kudos to Abatab Artist Lelia Broussard whose song “Spiderwebs” was featured on ABC Family’s The Lying Game this past Tuesday. We’ve got the tab right on her page, and it’s on sale through the end of January! Enjoy!

We used to see Pearl and the Beard perform when they were playing small clubs here in New York City, but nowadays they’re playing to much larger audiences as they regularly tour the U.S. and U.K. with such notable artists as Ani DiFranco (schedule). Needless to say, it was tons of fun to create their tabs, and you can find them all on our site here. Enjoy! (Note: All of our Pearl and the Beard tabs have been personally approved by the band themselves.)

Paula has one of our most favorite voices, and creating her tabs was a labor of love for us here at Abatab. A native of Israel, Paula has become a well-known and loved member of the New York City scene, cultivating a loyal following and playing in some of the most venerable venues around town. But she has also garnered rave reviews around the world, recently having enormous success back home, as her bio explains:

Paula, who now calls NY City her home, was a participant last summer in the highest rated television program in Israel, a sort of American Idol reality show, whose name translates to, “A Star Is Born.” At the moment, Paula Valstein cannot walk on the street of her native Tel-Aviv without getting noticed. Paula clinched Best Performance honors and it’s made her a household name all over that country. While Paula was performing on television her songwriting in the US was grabbing attention winning an award at the International Songwriting Competition.

Abatab artists are among a group of New York City musicians helping upstate New York residents recover from the devastation of Hurricane Irene. Allie Moss, Bess Rogers and Ari Hest have each contributed a song to “After the Flood”, a 43-song download, proceeds of which go to hurricane victims, many of whom have lost their homes and livelihoods. [Photos] The download is available exclusively from bandcamp at aftertheflood.bandcamp.com.
